While dryness is common for everyone after a lash lift, some women find their lashes are brittle and snap off. Brittle lashes are a result of the rebuilding solution left on eyelashes for too long. The lashes become brittle and snap off completely – leaving sparse stubs instead of the luscious lashes you hoped for.
Do lash lifts ruin your eyelashes?
After the lift, your lashes may feel slightly different to your natural lashes but by fiddling, you may ruin the shape or the lashes may become loose and fall out.
Will my eyelashes go back to normal after lash lift?
A lash lift will begin to naturally drop after about 2 months and your lashes will be back to their natural look. The lashes should drop evenly and will not look out of place. You can repeat the treatment after a minimum of one month if you feel you need to, or you can wait until they are back to their natural state.
How long does it take for eyelashes to grow back after lash lift?
1. Wait for all of your frizzed lashes to grow out and your new undamaged lashes to grow in. This will take at least a few months. Conditioning treatments may help a little, but in my experience they don’t visibly reverse the damage that has been done.
How do you repair eyelashes after eyelash lift?
Using a spoolie, apply perm solution to the lashes that are too curly. Brush from the roots down the ends and add more perm solution as you go. Continue this step until the over permed lashes begin to straighten out. It shouldn’t take more than 2 – 5 minutes.
